Our Mission:
Guiding ABC of Iowa members in being leaders in the green construction industry by providing tools for training the green workforce, expanding awareness of green initiatives and resources, and working with public policymakers and building owners to promote green building.
Definition of Green Building:
The concept of "Green Building" incorporates the entire building process from conception through completion of the building and its life cycle. It includes life cycle costs of the building, construction, energy costs, building maintenance, and the overall impact the building has on its occupants and the environment.
